Hertfordshire Police are proposing a Designated Public Place Order which, if successful, will ban the drinking of alcohol in open public places contained within the area on the map below.
The map shows the area covered by the proposed Designated Public Place Order (DPPO) being sought by the Crime and Disorder Partnership.
If the application is successful, the police will have the power to confiscate any alcohol being consumed in the area if it is considered to be contributing to public disorder.
The police need your input; you need to complete the questionnaire (available at Bishop's Stortford police station) and return it by Monday 15th September 2008 to one of the special ballot boxes.
