Area of DPPO

The map shows the area covered by the Designated Public Place Order (DPPO) created by the Crime and Disorder Partnership.

The police have the power to confiscate any alcohol being consumed in the area if it is considered to be contributing to public disorder.

Hertfordshire Police are proposing a Designated Public Place Order which, if successful, will ban the drinking of alcohol in open public places contained within the area on the map below.
