Bishop's Stortford Civic Federation
The Areas of Special Restraint (ASRs) in Bishop's Stortford were originally designated to reserve land for airport-related housing as a result of the County Structure Plan of 1991.
In total, the ASRs comprise over 200 acres to the north of the town.
